If there is, you’ve more than likely experienced the feeling of an unfair energetic exchange. An exchange of energy is something that is done with all forms of communication, within all forms of relationships and dynamics. Some of these exchanges make you feel good, some of them make you feel uncomfortable. Establishing boundaries helps both parties to receive an exchange that meets or exceeds their expectations.

I’m an advocate for having sponsors as opposed to having a sugar daddy. Honestly, because I don’t even want to uphold the illusion that I’m offering anything sweet. Yes, to the person who was just reminded of asking for the STD test. You can have proof of someone’s status and still abstain if you so choose.
Sugar daddies expect access to your body at some point in time.
&& they’ll see you being a fraud when you don’t ‘pay up.’ This is why I do not even entertain the idea that sex is even on the table. I mean, obviously, if I decide that I want to do something sexual I can- but it would just be a surprise.
What is a sponsor
A sponsor is a man who likes you. He enjoys being in your presence. Talking to you fills him with joy. && he wants to support you in ways that he can. But for whatever reason his application for courtship isn’t approved. There’s an acknowledgment by both parties that he will not receive access to my heart, nor my body, but could have access to my time, and perhaps my presence for a fee. So long as I find his presence enjoyable.
I don’t believe in having a boyfriend.
But I do believe in dating with the intention of marriage. A suitor is a man who was able to pass the courtship application. Having suitors doesn’t negate the role of a sponsor. Only the presence of my husband would discourage my time and presence being accessible to sponsors.
